Our Review
Livia (Liv) Maiorana and Mijan (Mij) Patterson, respectively an engineer and graphic designer in their previous lives, share a love of travel. They embarked on a ‘wine odyssey’ to study the cycle of winemaking in different wine regions around the world. ‘We learned from masters of the craft at some of the biggest and smallest players in California, Italy, France and British Columbia. We learned about terroirs and varietals, viticultural practices, cultural winemaking tricks and techniques. We drank a lot of wine.' Mij’s focus is on their 2 organic estate vineyards; fruit is also sourced from trusted growers around the South West. Liv takes care of the winemaking, in small batches, in their Margaret River winery. -HALLIDAY TEAM
