Our Review
Named after a renowned bay in the Great Southern (near Denmark), MadFish was established by Howard Park as a standalone brand with a focus on expressive, affordable, drink-now wines. Sourced from long-term growers in the state’s southwest. In its 30+year history, it has grown to become a widely recognised and exported wine brand. Today, as always, the wines are made by Nic Bowen and Mark Bailey, and at the same facility. In ‘07, Gold Turtle was established, projected as a regional (GI-specific) tier of wines exclusively for Endeavour Drinks. In the past few years, both Gold Turtle and MadFish have expanded to include sparkling wines. Further regional expansion may be imminent. -ERIN LARKIN
