KarriBindi

Western Australia | Margaret River

Our Review

KarriBindi is owned by Kevin, Yvonne and Kris Wealand. The name comes from Karridale and the surrounding karri forests, and from Bindi, the home town of one of the members of the Wealand family. In Nyoongar,‘karri’ means strong, special, spiritual, tall tree; ‘bindi’ means butterfly. The Wealands have established sauvignon blanc (15ha), chardonnay (6.25ha), cabernet sauvignon (4ha), plus smaller plantings of semillon, shiraz and merlot. KarriBindi also supplies a number of high-profile Margaret River wineries. Exports to Singapore. -JAMES HALLIDAY
