A pioneer of Margaret River, Cullen Wines has always produced long-lived wines of highly individual style. The vineyard has progressed beyond organic to biodynamic certification and, subsequently, has become the first vineyard and winery in Australia to be certified carbon positive. Winemaking is in the hands of Vanya Cullen, daughter of founders Kevin and Diana Cullen; she is possessed of an extraordinarily good palate and generosity to the cause of fine wine. The Cullen Restaurant overlooks the historic vineyard located in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. The building’s unique construction from granite and timber, blends harmoniously with the surroundings and provides a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine, lunch or a coffee.
Our vineyard is Certified "A" Grade Biodynamic with the Biological Farmers Association and in keeping with this philosophy, all food in the restaurant is prepared using fresh, biodynamic and organic produce and is sourced from our own garden and select local producers. ‘Under the direction of esteemed Head Chef, Ben Day, the restaurant was awarded an AGFG Chef Hat 2023.’
The Cullen Wines restaurant is open Friday-Tuesday from 11.30am to 4.00pm. The full menu is available from 12pm to 3pm.

Cullen Wines extend to you an invitation to stay in their Homestead, and to spend time tasting their excellent wines, and enjoying the very delicious food made from organic and biodynamic produce at the Cullen Restaurant.
The peaceful country surroundings set the scene for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Our invitation is extended to individuals, couples and families, and also corporate groups.
The Cullen Wines Homestead was built in 1976 by Diana and Kevin Cullen, the founders of the winery, is constructed from local granite rock and timber with sweeping panoramic views over the striking Margaret River countryside and local vineyards.
It very conveniently located just a short walk from Cullen Wines, and 15 minutes by road from the beach at Gracetown, 20 minutes from Margaret River and 30 minutes from Dunsborough.
