Changes of ownership of Virgin Hills have confused a number of people, myself included. It is now owned by Michael Hope, but is a standalone business totally separate from Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley. The brand continues, as does the distinctive white and gold label. The current wines are a pale shadow of those of yesteryear, a tragedy of epic proportions. Exports to the UK, the US and other major markets. This business is no longer operating. -JAMES HALLIDAY
