Our Review
Armstead Estate vineyard is centrally located within the Heathcote region on the banks of Lake Eppalock. Founder Peter Armstead planted the first shiraz vines in '03 on an east-facing slope just metres from the lake. Tom and Emily Kinsman purchased the estate in July ’17 and have since rebranded to ECK Wines (see separate entry). -JAMES HALLIDAY

Information
Our Cellar Door is the Old Foreman's Cottage, built in 1860 and located only 150m from the northern shores of Lake Eppalock. The Cellar Door is situated on 5 acres of manicured garden, so enjoy a picnic on the lawn after a tasting.
