Our Review
Shane and Loretta Breheny’s 20ha property is situated predominantly on a gentle, north-facing slope, with cypress trees on the western and southern borders providing protection against the wind. Vines were planted over '01–02, with pinot noir (4ha) taking the lion’s share, followed by pinot gris and shiraz (2.4ha each) and 0.1ha each of chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. Viticulture is Loretta’s love; winemaking (and wine) is Shane’s. -JAMES HALLIDAY
