Our Review
Gayle Taylor and Serena Abbinga established their business in '99. Gayle had worked in the wine industry for over 20 years, while Serena was seeking to return to North East Victoria after many years in inner-city Melbourne. A 3-year search culminated in the acquisition of a 24ha property in the Everton Hills. In the early years they concentrated on planting the 7ha vineyard, with 2.6ha of merlot, 1.2ha chardonnay, 1ha each of cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and pinot gris, and 0.2ha of prosecco. In ’15 the winery was completed, and the first vintage made. -JAMES HALLIDAY
