Our Review
Il Cattivo is owned by property developer Anthony Catinari, whose 2017-planted estate vineyard overlooks Fisherman’s Bay on the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The 1ha vineyard is planted to fiano and montepulciano, channeling Anthony’s family roots in Italy’s Abruzzo. Additional fruit is sourced from McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills, and more plantings of Italian and Spanish varieties, as well as Georgian variety saperavi, are planned. -TONY LOVE
