Taylors has been a significant family-owned producer since Bill Taylor Sr, together with his 2 sons, Bill and John, purchased their Clare Valley property in '69. Few producers manage to combine such substantial production volumes with such an impressive haul of wine show medals and trophies, as Taylors routinely manages. Just an hour and a half's drive from Adelaide, the Taylors winery is located at the start of the Clare Valley.
