Founders Steve and Cecilia Schubert sold their business to Mrs Sofia Yang and Mrs Lin Tan in '19. It was agreed that the Schuberts would guide the new owners as they came to grips with running a small but ultra-successful high-end wine business. They continued making the Goose-yard Block and the Gander on premises, with larger-scale production moving 5km down the road to Schubert’s ‘sister’ winery, Hare’s Chase, in '20 with the construction of a winery, warehouse and lab. In '23, a refurbished homestead on the grounds was made available for short stays, along with an onsite tasting room that replaces the now-closed Adelaide city cellar door. -HALLIDAY TEAM

Information
Schubert Estate’s cellar door was transformed into a bespoke wine room in early 2023. Guests are guided through a premium tasting of Schubert Estate wines, the winemaking approach, and the landscape of Barossa and the subregion of Marananga. The Wine Room overlooks the estate’s vineyards, which covers 12 acres of prized Barossa terroir and features a patchwork of various soil profiles, elevation, and topography.

Set in the vineyards and gardens of the Schubert Estate, the three-bedroom Residence offers relaxed, premium self-contained accommodation for up to 6 people. Recently re-furbished with plenty of room to move, there are three comfortable double bedrooms (two with ensuite) and a large fully equipped kitchen with plenty of workspace.
