Sixth-generation Adrian Hoffmann is arguably the Barossa’s most reputable grapegrower. Custodian of the Hoffman family’s Ebenezer vineyard since ’02, he has transformed the site into one of the region’s most renowned and sought-after fruit sources, with the famed Dallwitz Block alone supplying names like Rockford, Torbreck, Standish and Sami-Odi. The vineyard is also the main source of fruit for the wines Adrian makes under the Hoffman Family Vineyards label, the range naturally built around shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, mataro and grenache, as well as carignan and zinfandel. -ANNA WEBSTER
