James Kalleske Wines

Despite growing up on his family’s Barossa Valley vineyard, James Kalleske cut his winemaking teeth in Margaret River, with stints at some of the region’s biggest names including Rockfield, Vasse Felix, Cullen and Leeuwin Estate. He returned to his home state after a winemaking job in Bali and, in ’21, released the first wines under his own eponymous label, which today draws on fruit from across both South and Western Australian regions. -ANNA WEBSTER
