Toorak Winery

New South Wales | Riverina

Our Review

A traditional, long-established Riverina producer with a strong Italian-based clientele. Production has increased significantly, utilising substantial estate plantings and grapes purchased from other growers in the Riverina and elsewhere. Wines are released under the Willandra Estate, Willandra Leeton Selection and Toorak Road labels. There has been a shift in emphasis away from bulk and buyers-own-brand sales and towards improving quality of Toorak's own brands. Exports to the US, China and other major markets. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Toorak Winery was established by Frank Bruno Senior in 1965. When he first came to Australia, he worked on the current winery property on Toorak Road, Leeton. Over time, he eventually purchased the farm and established the winery with his sons. The winery is still run by the Bruno family and makes a range of premium wines from several different regions.
