Calabria Family Wines

New South Wales | Riverina

Our Review

Calabria Family Wines was born in Riverina, but has since cast its net wide over the Barossa Valley, too, starting with the purchase of the 100+-year-old Williiam vineyard in 2015. Its 3 Bridges range is anchored on Riverina estate vineyards; the Saint Petri, Elizabetta, Alternato and other labels on the Barossa. The family has increased its plantings of durif and added aglianico, nero d’Avola, montepulciano, pinot bianco and St Macaire (once grown in Bordeaux, and on the verge of extinction, this 2ha is the largest planting in the world). There is a second, family-friendly cellar door at 284 Magnolia Road in Vine Vale in the Barossa Valley, open 11–5 daily. Exports to the UK, the US, Canada, Japan, Fiji, Denmark and Finland.
