Our Review
The McLean family has a multi-pronged grapegrowing and winemaking business with 182ha of vines on the Murray River. All the mainstream varieties are grown, the lion's share to chardonnay, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. There is also a very small planting at Myrniong in the Pentland Hills, a 50-minute drive from the heart of Melbourne, where the main cellar door is situated. There are 4 other cellar doors: Moama (Cnr Perricoota Road and 24 Lane), Lorne (150 Mount Joy Parade), Echuca (53 Murray Esplanade) and Bendigo (3 Belvoir Park Road). -JAMES HALLIDAY
