Windowrie Estate

New South Wales | Cowra | Wiradjuri people

Our Review

Windowrie Estate was established by the O'Dea family in 1987 on a grazing property at Canowindra, 30km north of Cowra. A portion of the grapes is sold to other makers, but increasing quantities are being made for the Windowrie Estate and The Mill labels. The winery is certified organic, and the substantial vineyard (mostly certified organic or in conversion) is planted to chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, semillon, verdelho, chenin blanc, shiraz, tempranillo, sangiovese, petit verdot, cabernet sauvignon and merlot.
Exports to Scandinavia, Singapore, Japan and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
